The Hot Springs Children’s Dance Theatre Company is an educational performing arts organization dedicated to bringing the excellence of music and classical dance to our community through inclusive, creative programming. Our focus includes developing the technical and artistic elements of dance and music, mastering ballet and stage arts, and cultivating a new generation of performers.
The Company provides essential daily classical ballet training to our community. This rigorous instruction is crucial for developing the strength needed for safe and effective pointe work and equipping students with the skill set required to advance to a pre-professional ballet level.
By working alongside professional artists, our students gain the invaluable experience of bringing world-class productions to the city of Hot Springs, preparing them for success in a professional ballet company environment.
Each fall and spring, the Company hosts open auditions for local young dancers of all experience levels. The only requirement for participation is current enrollment in a dance education program or class, whether through a public school or a private studio. We are committed to providing performance opportunities to any student willing to dedicate themselves to the production, regardless of their prior experience.
